Charlie Foster’s: Same Name, New Concept
If you have lived in Huntsville and visited Stovehouse in the last few years, you probably have seen Charlie Foster’s on the corner of Gas Light Alley. You may have even walked into the shop with its iconic red-tinted windows. It offered a variety of coffee drinks, tea, and breakfast items.
Under new ownership, Charlie Foster’s keeps its name with the subtitle of being an Espresso Wine Bar. The shop will continue to serve coffee drinks as the ‘Espresso’ descriptor indicates, but it also offers a variety of wine vintages from around the world.
The shop has received a complete makeover with a wall mural that “splashes” vibrant colors of Merlot. The lighting is softer and the walls warmer, but Charlie Foster’s sticks a bit to its roots by having a leather booth across the wall with bright, velvety red upholstery that gives the entire shop an elegant touch of color.
Enjoy Wine at Charlie Foster’s or Home
With the addition of its wine selection, Charlie Foster’s hours have extended with the shop’s motto being, ‘Where Day Begins and Evening Unwinds.’ Patrons can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine:
· Mondays and Tuesdays from 7 am to 4 pm
· Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 am to 9 pm
· Fridays and Saturdays from 7 am to 10 pm
· Sundays from 7 am to 8 pm
Of course, the crew at Charlie Foster’s encourages you to enjoy a glass at the bar at Stovehouse with friends. However, when the week is long and you must crash at home, Charlie Foster’s Espresso Wine Bar offers an excellent variety of wine from Spain, Germany, Australia, etc. There are even domestic vintages, too. Grab a bottle from Charlie Foster’s to take home with you.
Reopening its doors on March 29th, 2024, Charlie Foster’s Espresso Wine Bar has only continued to improve with Half Off Any Glass of Wine on Sundays and events throughout the week. With its extended hours, Charlie Foster’s also integrates more into the Stovehouse community.
