Huntsville was incorporated in 1811 and named after Revolutionary War veteran John Hunt of Virginia. The Blossomwood neighborhood is the result of decades of growth from the downtown area and the east.
There are a variety of architectural styles in this established community, including an assortment of quaint bungalows mixed with mid-century ranchers, charming Tudor-style homes, cottages, and Colonials. Recent sales have been as high as $175 per square foot, making it one of the strongest home values in the city.

This should come as no surprise since Blossomwood Elementary was recognized as the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School in 2013, making it a further draw for families.

Although Blossomwood is primarily a residential district, residents still enjoy plenty to do close by. Located in the heart of Huntsville, Twickenham Square is the city’s premier shopping destination. This urban hotspot is filled with restaurants, retail stores, and beauty spas.
